Faro Flights from Glasgow International Airport

Thomson Flights, flythomascook.com charter and easyJet all offer direct flights from Faro in Portugal to Glasgow International Airport. The flights should take about 3 hours and 30 minutes and one of the great things is that you do not have to change your clocks as Portugal is on the same time zone as the UK.

There are two check-in areas on the ground floor at Glasgow Airport, both on the ground floor of the terminal. The check in desks for Thomson, flythomascook and easyJet are all in the Terminal 2 area which is connected to the main terminal by a travelator.

When you arrive at Faro it is a relatively short walk through passport control into the arrivals hall on the ground floor. In this area you will find the desks for the car hire companies and if you head upstairs a there is a large coffee shop that serves cold drinks, snacks, beers and sandwiches.

There is a mixture of stairs, lifts and escalators to help you get up to both of these levels. In both levels in the arrivals area you will find toilets and baby changing facilities.

Luggage trolleys are available outside the terminal (in the departures area), in the baggage claim area and the car parks.
