Flybe and Thomson Flights both offer direct flights from Faro in Portugal to Exeter Airport.. The flight time between Exeter Airport and Faro is somewhere around 2½ hours with Portugal operating on the same time zone as the UK throughout the year.

When you arrive at Exeter Airport and enter the terminal building you will see check-in desks are immediately in front of you.  There is an Information Desk to the left and the Flybe and Thomson Flights desks are to the right. If you want to buy something to read on your flight to Faro there is a World News Shop before going through security where you can buy newspapers, magazines, books, CDs/DVDs and confectionery.  You can also change some euros at the travel agents which has a Bureau de Change.

When you depart from Faro Airport and go into the departures hall you will see 63 check in desks and need to check the TV monitor to see which is the one you need to go to. Faro Airport departures hall has a coffee shop selling drinks and snacks throughout the day, a small bar, a sweet shop and a newspaper shop selling a range of International Newspapers.

If you have hire a car which you need to return a car to one of the car hire companies at Faro Airport make sure that you check the instructions as they all have different arrangements. The main depots for the car hire companies are at the very far end of the terminal building past the car parks.

After checking in at Faro Airport you will clear security and then head through to the main departure lounge where there are a selection of shops (including duty free outlets).
