Faro flights from Belfast
Over the summer of 2010 there are 4 different airlines offering direct flights between Faro and Belfast. The four airlines are: Aer Lingus, Easyjet, Thomson and Flythomascook.com. Don't forget that you can use a combination of these airlines, ie one for one leg of the journey and another for the other leg of the journey.
I always like Aer Lingus because they allow you to pre-select your seat (for an extra fee.) If you are travelling with your kids then at least then you do not to have the worry about whether or not you will be sitting together!
In the unlikely event that you are unable to find the flights that you want to and from Belfast then really the only other option you have is to fly out of Dublin.
The flights normally take around three hours and unlike most of mainland Europe, Portugal is on the same time zone as the UK and Ireland so there is no need to change your clocks when you get here.
